Project: Reshaping Customer Experience with Telecommunication Services

Simplexity provides rate information for telecommunication & business services including AT&T, MCI, Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, and Nextel.

Business Challenge:
Provide an online rate information shopping experience that is secure, cost-effective and hassle-free. It is necessary to design the experience so that consumers receive the best rates and plans according to their usage needs.

Zynergy Solution:
For this multi-million dollar project, Zynergy partnered with SAIC and Scient to develop an online system using artificial intelligence to profile the telecom consumer and provides a comprehensive comparison of available plans based on Geographic location and required needs. The system automatically displayed plans and rates best suited to the consumer’s needs. For large corporate accounts, the system triggered an RFP process for telecom services. After the system accepted the RFP, Simplexity was able to disseminate the information "electronically" to all the telecom carriers in order to provide the large business consumer the best rates possible within 24 hours.

Technology Profile:
Zynergy used JSP and JAVA for programming. Macromedia Suite and Adobe Suite was used for site design, Microsoft Visio for site architecture, Microsoft Project and Microsoft SourceSafe for project management, an Oracle database was used for all content and asset storage.
